Easter Island Moai Wooden Model — DXF

Inspect a slotted wooden Moai-style statue in DXF format, supported by six reference views and a video of the assembled model.

Slotted wooden Easter Island Moai style model on a base

This project turns the recognizable profile of a Moai-style stone figure into a freestanding slotted wooden model. Layered side panels, a dark central face section and a stepped base create depth while keeping the silhouette immediately readable.

Design and reference notes

One DXF file provides the cut geometry. Six JPG images show the front, back, side, top and hero views, and an MP4 supplies an additional visual reference. No verified dimensions, sheet thickness or assembly manual appears in the inspected folder.

The curved head profile and inset facial pieces may use a mix of perimeter cuts and decorative details. Inspect layers and line types carefully, especially around the eyes, nose and narrow slot openings. The project is a decorative model; no cultural or historical accuracy claim is made.

Before preparing this project

  • Use the multiple camera angles to map the face insert, body shell and stacked base before arranging the DXF.
  • Measure every mating slot in the source and test a representative pair using your actual material.
  • Retain enough support around narrow facial details and avoid resizing until the smallest connections have been checked.

Work from a copy, keep the original package unchanged, and confirm scale and units before modifying geometry. Use a small test piece for joints or fine details, then choose cutting, engraving, carving or printing operations that match the actual file type and your own equipment.
